The Tome of Beasts III pieces are properly named.  Only 3 have changed names, but here's the list in case you want to look them over.  Renamed minis have the original name in parenthesis.  All but 3 have in process renders.

PLEASE NOTE: Renders are works in progress and change can be made for easier molding, we will do our best to keep the poses as faithful as possible to the artwork.

Quick Update on Pledge Manager

Hello Effincooligans,

Wanted to post a quick update on the Pledge Manager.  We promised additional miniatures from TOB III to the project that can be purchased on BackerKit.  In doing that we also found out some of the miniatures were re-named in TOB III versus what we had been given for the original names.  It's a small thing, but we're waiting for a preview copy of TOB III so that we can address and name accordingly.  We're trying to avoid something we've done two different times now.. Calling the Kobold Miner the Kobold Trapsmith... and the Tosculi Hive Queen the Tosculi Warrior.

We do appreciate the patience and we have not forgot about the pledge manager.

Pledge Manager Update

Hello Effincooligans,

Your friendly neighborhood EffinEd here with a great update.

A little while back we did the smoke test and it has been successful.  If you were part of that smoke test, you'll want to read this too!!!!!!

The reason for the delay to go fully live, is that we've wanted to get the miniatures that Kobold Press used in their Kickstarter into our Pledge Manager for this project.  Now that both campaigns are done, they've agreed to just that.  

We need to get them individually rendered and into BackerKit so that those who want minis from the upcoming Tome of Beasts III Bestiary can get them from us if you didn't back and select miniatures from their project.  If you did back their project, you're not out a thing, we'll be the manufacturer for that as well and this will allow us to work out both projects at the same time!!  Here they are for your viewing pleasure.

I hope you find that as exciting as we do!  That's another 19 miniatures available to you as add-ons.  Once we get those into the pledge manager, we'll go FULLY LIVE and of course announce it here!

Smoke Test and Product Examples

Hello Effincooligans,

Your friendly neighborhood EffinEd here with the next in a series of updates for the pledge manager going live.  As soon as I'm done typing this update, I'll stroll (Click) on over to BackerKit and activate the Smoke Test.  As mentioned before, this will send to about 5% of each pledge level.  I ask for your feedback on how this process works for you.  There's always at least one bug to work out in this and I do appreciate any feedback before I make the entire thing live for the remainder of the 446 backers.

As soon as I get some feedback and review the surveys that are completed I'll make the project live for everyone.

There was a comment about plastic versus metal pictures.  Well, since we did the Swolbold as one of our test pieces for mold making, I have taken a picture of one in metal and one in plastic for your viewing pleasure.  

One thing to remember with wonderful pictures from a phone, the metal does get washed out a little.  They both have great detail though you can see it better on a grey/matte substrate versus a silver/shiny substrate.

That's today's quick update, I'm off to send the Smoke Test.  Please offer any feedback for those that receive it.

Pledge Manager Update!

Hello Effincooligans,

Your friendly neighborhood EffinEd here.  The Pledge Manager (BackerKit) is now under review.  It'll take 2 business days to review and if they find or suggest any changes we'll decide whether to make them or not.  There are 104 unique figures in this campaign, then factor in that the All in pledges get 113 pieces each, and there's a mix of metal and plastic, that's about 200 SKU's.  Based on what you've already selected, there's over 12,000 minis to produce before you even start your surveys.  As of now that's 10,000 plastic and 2,000 Metal.  

We had 85 backers pick the ALA CARTE level so that's more selections for sure, as well as if people would like to double any current selections.  This is a Great Project!

So once the pledge manager is reviewed and approved, we get to do a smoke test, which sends surveys out to about 5% of the backers in each pledge level.  This is to help us see if there are any bugs in our setup.  The 5% are randomly selected so we'll post when that happens too so we can get some feedback from you.  Once we see how it's working.. One Click and it's then live for Everyone!  Of course, there will be an update when that happens as well.
